1. Overview

StrangerChat is a stranger-to-stranger chat app for adults (18+). This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

• Account info: name, username, email (Google sign-in), date of birth, gender, profile photo
• Messages and images you send in chats and groups
• Approximate location (~1 km) from GPS or IP when you use the app
• Reports you submit and blocks you create
• App activity (login, chat events) for safety and moderation
• Firebase authentication identifiers and push tokens (if enabled)

3. How we use data

• Provide chat, random matching, groups, friend requests, and notifications
• Investigate reports, enforce Terms, and support admin moderation
• Improve the app and comply with legal obligations

4. Your responsibility

StrangerChat connects strangers. Do not share sensitive personal information in chats. Other users may copy or share content outside the app. You use the service at your own risk when interacting with people you do not know offline.

5. What we share

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with chat participants as part of normal features, with Firebase/Google Cloud to run the app, with authorised administrators for moderation, and when required by law.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS) and stored on Firebase (Google Cloud). Authorised administrators may review chat content and reports for safety.

7. Children

StrangerChat is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18.

8. Your choices

Control notifications and online status in Settings. Delete your account in Settings or email vinay18831190@gmail.com.
